The person behind this platform and the name Jacob d'IAWARII is Cory Gold. His work speaks for him — through uplifting music, messages of light shared through the podcast, and his written reflections. He walks a devoted spiritual path, trusting and open to where it leads him.
Over the years, Cory has grown to be open-minded, tolerant, and loving toward himself — a shift that now shapes how he shows up in every daily interaction. It is his relationship with God, Love, Creation, Source, the Holy Spirit — however it's named — that compels him to share the love he's found with the world through this platform, AllTheThingsLight.com.
Cory had a wonderful relationship with his maternal grandparents. "I wouldn't trade nothing for my journey" is a phrase he often heard his grandfather say growing up, and his grandmother was known as the songbird of the family, often heard humming a hymn while tending to the household. Music was a permanent fixture in Cory's childhood, and his upbringing in the church shaped his sense of spiritual awareness from an early age.
"Love Lifted Me" is Cory's anthem for living — because "when nothing else can help", there is always Love! Cory built this platform to create community, and to walk alongside like-minded people learning to internalize love, patience, peace, gratitude, and forgiveness together. When we start within, we become a light to those around us.
