You Are Enough.
Whatever occupation, whatever hustle
Love your grind;
Put a smile on your face and make up your mind.
Don't allow time to slip by with you unhappy,
The world needs you to shine on it
Leaving all darkness behind.
You are good enough.
Your light- bright enough.
Look, see- you just brightened someone's day.
Your worth is in how you left someone
a little lighter
a little stronger
Make no mistake-
Your talent is needed.
Everyone is gifted differently
For the reason of so many different needs.
It is enough.
Enough is enough;
Settling for only potential
Leaves lives empty.
Everyone is a teacher and a learner.
What did you teach today?
About joy- or did you complain?
About hate- or did you share laughter today?
About peace-
Teach me how you continue to sustain,
And how your hope never fades.
Your enough is enough.
Someone needs to see how you climb
And knock the dust off your feet,
And kept your head held high.
Teaching all who look-
About a Grace that is Amazing.
No race is won in the middle,
it is won in how you endure until the end-
