Jacob opens by naming his own contribution — patience, love, a generous heart — and the belief that honoring yourself with these gifts first is what makes you a light for the world. He reflects on purpose as expression: the nudge in each of us that won't rest until it's shared, whether through a microphone, a pen, or simply a kind word to a neighbor.
Drawing from a moment swimming laps and noticing children mimicking him nearby, Jacob illustrates how presence and joy naturally inspire those around us — no announcement required. He then shares a recent book signing that felt like church: a room full of love, gratitude, and what he calls "one accordance" — the unified energy that produces powerful, healing moments, wherever they happen, inside a building or out.
The episode closes with an invitation: to see church, purpose, and light as things lived daily rather than confined to a place — and to be an inspiration to others, the same way children instinctively inspire us.
